GIS DAY

GIS Day is an international celebration of this scientific framework often implemented by using software for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing geographic or georeferenced data.

In 2020, for the first time, GIS enthusiasts from the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, and a number of community organizations like Draw the Lines organized several exciting events for GIS Day. Please explore gisdaypgh.com to check out the event descriptions and to get an idea of the areas of spatial research that we work and collaborate on..
