Welcome!

The George M. Bevier Science & Engineering Library is the primary location for library resources in engineering, the natural sciences, mathematics, and statistics. We support the Swanson School of Engineering and the Departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Geology and Environmental Science, Mathematics, Neuroscience, Physics and Astronomy, and Statistics.

Our collection includes print and electronic resources, books, journals, and databases for searching the subject literature, properties of materials, crystal structures, astronomical data, chemical reactions, and more. We offer a collection of materials on reserve for a variety of courses each term.

The library includes one group study room and a variety of seating at tables, counters, and carrels. Quieter seating is located on the lower level.

Our services include:

  • Borrowing services, including Interlibrary Loan and EZBorrow
  • Reservable group study room with a monitor for sharing screens (please reserve in the library)
  • Three individual computer stations
  • Wireless internet access
  • Two scanners
  • Self-Service black & white printer
