There are two ways to use the template:

1. Simply double click on either the ULS Powerpoint Template(simple) or ULS PowerPointTemplate(buildings) link. The template will open in PowerPoint and you can begin creating your presentation.

2. Alternately, you can download and save the template to your computer so that it will appear in PowerPoint along with the standard Microsoft PowerPoint templates.

Instructions for downloading:

• Right click on the link above and choose Save Link Target As….
  
• Be sure the "Save as Type" is set to design template (.pot)

• You can use the file’s default name or name the file something else if you choose, but be sure to keep the .pot extension.

• For most ULS users, PowerPoint templates are stored at this location:
  D:\program files\Microsoft Office\Templates\Presentation Designs
  
• You can choose to save the ULS PowerPoint template with other office templates, or save to your own default save location. For most ULS users, this would show as the MS PowerPoint directory when you go to open or save a file in PowerPoint. The true path to this would be d:\my documents\ms powerpoint.

• If you have PowerPoint open, close it and reopen it. The uls template should now appear along with the standard Microsoft PowerPoint templates.
