The Riley Family
Edwin Riley had six children:four girls and two boys. The best known in Titusville was his son, Gerrit. Gerrit graduated from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Pharmacy in 1929. He worked as a pharmacist in his uncle's independent pharmacy (Lincoln Drug Company) located in East Liberty and eventually became part-owner. He retired in 1981 and moved back to Titusville. Gerrit had many fond memories of playing on the grounds of what is today the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville with the McKinney children.
