Owen Libraries 2 Go

This service is for:

Pitt-Johnstown faculty members.
There is no charge for this service.

Overview of Services:

  • Books and audiovisual materials requested via Get it!, EZBorrow, and Interlibrary Loan are delivered by student couriers to any Pitt faculty member's office on the Pitt-Johnstown campus.
  • You may expect delivery within 1-2 business days, excluding weekends or holidays. Materials from other campuses and from outside the University Library System may take slightly longer. During the summer term, deliveries are available by special arrangement.
  • Borrowed materials must be returned to Owen Library or a campus library book return box; our couriers won't return materials to the Library.
  • A signature is required for all deliveries. In your absence, a departmental administrative assistant can sign for deliveries.
  • You are responsible for any requested materials once they've been successfully delivered. Even if signed by a departmental administrative assistant, fines/fees stemming from lost or misplaced materials are levied upon your ULS account.
  • If your library account is blocked due to suspension of borrowing privileges, you won't be able to place requests.
  • For each requested item, we'll attempt one delivery. If no authorized signer is available/present, the item will be placed on hold at the Information Desk. You'll be notified of the failed delivery.
