Miranda Nixon Miranda is the Conservation Technician for Preservation, responsible for the day-to-day activities of the lab.She received her MLIS from Pitt, specializing in Archives and Preservation Management. Amy Baker Williams Amy received her MLIS and CAS in Conservation from The University of Texas at Austin. Since June 2007, she has worked with a team of students to stabilize oversize maps for digitization as part of the CONSOL Energy Mine Map Preservation Project. Treatments include cleaning, mending, adhesive removal & reduction, re-lining, humidification & flattening. Please visit the project website for further information, resources and statistics.
