The Stark Media Services film and video collection primarily supports classroom instruction across disciplines with an emphasis on Film Studies. The Equipment available includes 16mm film projectors, audio cassette playback equipment and headphones, laserdisc players (includes closed captioning device), dvd players, cd player and recording capabilities, videocassette playback equipment including VHS and ¾ "U-matic, and high speed audio-to-audio cassette dubbing equipment

Policies
The Stark Media Services collection is a primarily non-circulating collection. Films and videos may be previewed in the Media Services during regular hours of operation.
Faculty: Request that the library purchase Media- DVD, Film, or Video
Students can check out materials needed for a class they’re currently enrolled in if they print out aStudent Requisition Form (PDF) and have their professor sign it

Locating Films and Videos: Films and videos can be located using PITTCat:
- Connect to PITTCat
- Click on the Keyword button.
- On the following screen click on the Narrow My Search button, located near the bottom of the page.
- On the Search/Location Limits screen, under Medium, select both Motion Picture and Videorecording (hold the CTRL key and click on both).
- Click the gray Set Search Limits button at the bottom of the screen. Your subsequent searches will be limited to these media.
- On the Keyword search screen, enter your search terms, and click the gray Search button near the bottom of the screen to execute your search.
