PITTCat Titles published by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, by Allegheny County, and by the City of Pittsburgh are shelved in various libraries of the University of Pittsburgh-- and especially in the General Collection of Hillman Library. - When searching for Pennsylvania state publications on a topic, it is sometimes useful to combine a keyword search for subject terms with a search for "pennsylvania" in the Subject field and for "harrisburg" in the Publisher: Place field.

Statistical (Lexis-Nexis) (Pitt users only) Contains records, and some full text, of statistical resources related to states and local governments. Includes SRI numbers for microfiche copies of publications in Hillman Microforms. Print titles on which this database is based include the American Statistics Index and the Statistical Reference Index. Recent years of each of these titles are shelved on index carrel #8 in the Hillman Reference collection. Earlier volumes are in the compact shelves, aisles #66- 67, on the ground floor of Hillman.
