On October 15th, the George M. Bevier Engineering Library moved into a newly constructed library within Benedum Hall. Located on the Ground Floor, the Library has two floors: one floor will be used as a central service point for Reserves, reference, circulation, group and quiet studying, while the lower floor will house the print collections devoted to the subject areas of engineering, physics, geology, astronomy, and mathematics. Hours of operation and phone numbers will remain the same at this location.
The Bevier Engineering Library's collection supports the studies and research of the Swanson School Of Engineering's faculty, students, and staff.
The Library's collections also suppport the Departments of Physics and Astronomy, the Department of Geology and Planetary Science, and the Department of Mathematics.
The library has approximately 35,000 books, 490 journals in print, and access to thousands of electronic journal titles.
