Types of Search Engines (continued)

Deep Web Engine
Also known as an "invisible web" engine, a deep web engine is capable of searching for sites, files, or databases that are usually "hidden" from basic search engines because of coding that may prevent the engines from indexing them or from linking to the web sites.

Q&A
Q: When is This Engine Most Useful?
A:

When searching for hidden information, or sites that may contain statistics, documents, or articles in pdf format. This type of engine is useful when you are looking to exhaust your possibilities and when you're simply not finding much else on your topic.
