Children's Literature Conference
The Annual UPG Children's Literature Conference was held on Friday, May 2 in Smith Hall. Jack Gantos, Megan McDonald, and Rebecca O'Connell were the featured authors. 141 Librarians, Educators, and Students attended, making it one of the largest and most popular conferences in the 12 year history of the event!
Up Close and Personal
The UPG campus was host for a Hillary Clinton Town Hall on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 and we were able to get up close and personal.
One Book, One Community
The Friends of the Millstein Library will once again host a One Book, One Community Event during the coming Fall Term. This year we are featuring Shu Jiang Lu's "When Huai Flowers Bloom." Information regarding this event may be found at our One Book site. Sign ups for this program begin in August, 2008.
