Hanley Library Directions, Parking and Access
Below are directions we hope will help you when you visit our campus. Also, because the highway construction may cause unexpected delays, you may want to to allow a little more time to get to Pitt-Bradford.
For Northbound traffic (coming from Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton):
* From Interstate 80, follow U.S. Route 219 North to Bradford
* Exit U.S. Route 219 at the Elm Street exit
* Turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto Elm Street
* Then right at the next stop sign onto Davis Street
* Turn left at the traffic light onto Main Street
* Follow the signs to Pitt-Bradford, which is about 1.5 miles west
of downtown Bradford, just off Route 346 West
For Southbound traffic (coming from Buffalo, Rochester, Niagara Falls, NY):
* From Interstate 90, follow U.S. Route 219 South to Bradford
* Exit U.S. Route 219 at the Foster Brook exit
* At the stop sign at the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Bolivar
Drive.
* At the traffic light, turn left onto Seaward Avenue
* Follow Seaward Avenue for .4 miles and turn right onto Jackson Avenue
* Follow Jackson Avenue for 1.4 miles to the 3rd stop sign and the
junction with Mechanic Street
* Turn left onto Mechanic Street, and at the first traffic light (by
the Country Fair gas station), turn right onto West Washington Street
(PA Rt. 346 West)
* Proceed on West Washington Street for 1.5 miles and enter campus
on the left. Signs will direct you to the appropriate building
For Westbound traffic (coming from Scranton, Corning, Elmira, Rochester, Syracuse, Binghamton, New York, NY):
* Take Interstate 86 (also referred to as NY Route 17)
* Take exit 23 onto U.S. Route 219
* At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Route 219 and proceed
south
* Exit U.S. Route 219 at the Foster Brook exit
* At the stop sign at the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Bolivar
Drive
* At the traffic light, turn left onto Seaward Avenue
* Follow Seaward Avenue for .4 miles and turn right onto Jackson Avenue
* Follow Jackson Avenue for 1.4 miles to the 3rd stop sign and the
junction with Mechanic Street.
* Turn left onto Mechanic Street

For Eastbound traffic (coming from Erie, Cleveland, OH, Jamestown, NY):
* Take Interstate 90 east to Interstate 86 (also referred to as
NY Route 17)
* Take exit 23 onto U.S. Route 219
* At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Route 219 and proceed
south.
* Exit U.S. Route 219 at the Foster Brook exit
* At the stop sign at the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Bolivar
Drive.
* At the traffic light, turn left onto Seaward Avenue
* Follow Seaward Avenue for .4 miles and turn right onto Jackson Avenue
* Follow Jackson Avenue for 1.4 miles to the 3rd stop sign and the
junction with Mechanic Street.
* Turn left onto Mechanic Street
* At the first traffic light (by the Country Fair gas station), turn

Guest and Visitor Parking
No fee is assessed for a temporary guest parking permit, which is obtained at the Campus Police Office. A temporary parking permit is valid for a period not to exceed seven consecutive calendar days.
A temporary guest parking permit is not necessary for day visitors using the "Visitors Only" lot also designated as Lot #2.
