Description:
TRACfed allows users to search and browse through data from the federal government, making it possible to identify trends and judge performance. For example, data on the number of IRS audits performed per year is presented in table and graph formats.
The data is compiled largely from Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests by lawyers working with TRAC (Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse) at the University of Syracuse. Specific types of information include:
