Description:
SERFILE contains bibliographic information for over 80,000 bioimedical and health science serials. The database includes all serials and numbered congresses that are in the National Library of Medicine's collection. A limited number of titles not held by the National Library of Medicine are included if they are indexed in MEDLINE. This database contains descriptions of the serials/journals at the title level only.
Since SERFILE indexes journals not articles, it is good for finding what journals publish in a broad area of biomedicine or health services and also for obtaining full titles of abbreviated titles for journals from medical databases.
This is a SilverPlatter database, and can be search individually or in combination with other SilverPlatter databases.Coverage: Current
