Description:
The Japanese Text Initiative (JTI) intends to put online on the Web texts of classical Japanese literature in Japanese characters. The primary audience is English-speaking scholars and students. Where possible, the Japanese texts will be accompanied by English translations. Includes Ise monogatari, Genji monogatari, and Noh among many others.
The JTI is a joint project between The University of Virginia Library Electronic Text Center and the University of Pittsburgh East Asian Library.
