Description:

The International Relations and Security Network (ISN) is the world’s foremost open access information service for International Relations and security professionals. Their mission is to promote greater knowledge sharing, learning and collaboration. They do this by building a portfolio of free, high-quality information services; providing e-learning consulting, content and technology services and products; and offering technical, editorial and administrative support to a host of online communities.

The ISN website is structured into four areas:

  • Digital Library: Includes over 20,000 full-text books, working papers, government reports, and journal articles; historic and primary source materials; a directory of organizations active in international relations; and an annotated links library of the websites, blogs, and online research resources for international affairs
  • Communities and Partners: Allows access to a growing number of online knowledge networks supported by the ISN
  • e-Learning: Includes freely accessible online courses and downloadable e-learning software components
  • Current Affairs: Provides information on the issues that are shaping national policy and global dialogue, including new stories, podcasts, original ISN commentary, special reports, policy briefs, and a calendar
