SciFinder provides access to the CAS (Chemical Abstracts Service) databases covering the chemical literature, chemical substances and reactions, chemical catalogs and regulatory information, as well as the Medline database. Literature sources include journals, patents, conference proceedings, technical reports, dissertations, selected books, and more. Subject coverage includes chemistry and related disciplines, such as biomedicine, chemical engineering, materials science, and agriculture. Users may search by topic, author, chemical name or formula, CAS registry number, structure, and reaction information. More than 33 million references, 60 million substances, and 30 million reactions are searchable.
