Description:

The FLI Online contains approximately 700,000 citations to articles, film reviews and book reviews published between 1976-2001. The periodicals indexed range from the scholarly and critical to the popular.

Notable features of the FLI Online include:

  • Comprehensive search functionality that includes Boolean operators, wildcard and exact phrase in either the basic search or advanced search pages as well as filters in the advanced search page that range from language to peer review for additional refinement
  • Exploratory access available in the browse section, which provides alphabetical browse access to subject headings, person names, production titles and corporate names
  • Robust results manipulation, which supports refining within the result set by utilizing either the search box or the pre-defined filters (format, document type and language) provided
  • OpenURL compatibility allows for institution-specific full-text access
  • Export of selected citations via email, print or save functionality
