The CINAHL database covers nearly 1000 English-language nursing and allied health journals. It also includes references to book chapters, pamphlets, audiovisual materials, software, dissertations, standards of professional practice and nurse practice acts. Subjects covered include biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, behavioral sciences, consumer health, health management, and education. Full-text is available for selected nursing standards, practice acts, pamphlets, state nursing journals, research instruments, and critical paths.
