Description:

Provides bibliographic citations to articles, book reviews, books, videos and other materials pertaining to African American and African diaspora studies; other racial and ethnic minority groups are also covered. The database includes an electronic version of the Index to Black Periodicals, as well as the library catalog from the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Focus is on the humanities, social sciences and the arts. The periodical index includes citations to articles in important core scholarly and leisure African American periodicals.

This publication lists important primary source information from periodicals and newspapers such as the Crisis, Bilalian News, Afro-American, Chicago Defender, Pittsburgh Courier, New York Age, New York Amsterdam News.
