Description:

Art Index Retrospective (AIR)is invaluable for students, educators, curators, art historians, and art lovers. AIR is a bibliographic database that cumulates citations to Art Index volumes 1-32 of the printed index published between 1929-1984.

The database cites articles from periodicals published throughout the world. Users can research leading English-language sources, plus others published in French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Dutch.

Besides periodicals, users have access to data from important yearbooks and select museum bulletins.
